Arkansas Lottery Sales Hit High Point

Since instant (scratch-off) tickets went on sale for the first time in state history on Monday, more have been sold every day since.
On Thursday, sales reached the highest point so far, with a total of $1,624,474.
Ticket sales on Monday were $1.2 million, on Tuesday they rose to $1.3 million, and by Wednesday they reached $1,415,865.
New instant games will become available on October 20, while Powerball tickets go on sale October 31st, and state draw games lottery tickets arrive December 14th.
The lottery is expected to bring in as much as $400 million during its first year, with $100 million going to college scholarships for Arkansas students.
