The Arkansas Scholarship Lottery launches in just 11 days.

Today, retailers in northwest Arkansas got a chance to learn about the games they will be selling.

They took part in one of a series of lottery training sessions for retailers, which gave them a peek at some of the lottery games that will be available.

Starting September 28th, Arkansans will have the option to play games like "Jumbo Bucks" and "Arkansas Riches", and retailers can't wait to start selling.

"The people are expecting it, they're waiting for it, they're ready to buy the tickets, we've just got to get the  bugs worked out at our locations," says one retailer.

Getting the bugs worked out starts with some hands-on training.

"When they were going over everything in there earlier it was a little overwhelming, but for the most part I  think it's going to be pretty easy for us to learn."

Over the next week, retailers across the state will attend training sessions like this one.

Many are taking place at colleges, keeping with the Lottery Commission's mission of  providing scholarships to students.

If retailers are any indicator, it already seems as though Arkansans will support that  mission, by making the lottery a success.

"I told my manager, I said, I think our Wednesdays and Saturdays probably just got a lot busier because  that's the days they draw on."

"Everybody's so looking forward to the lottery coming in, as you know, Benton County is a dry county so we  will get lottery, we may not have alcohol but we'll have lottery."

The Arkansas Scholarship Lottery will offer a few new instant games each month.

If you win a prize of 500-dollars or less, you can get your cash from that retailer, but if you're lucky enough to win more than that, you'll have to redeem your prize through at a lottery claims office.

In northwest Arkansas, there will be a lottery claims office located in Springdale.
