Schools across Arkansas have opened their doors again as students return to the classroom from the summer break.

Children headed back to campus today by walking, taking the bus, or getting a ride from family or friends.

Police agencies have been out in force near school grounds to remind drivers to slow down for everyone's safety.

This afternoon, drivers should also be on the lookout for stopping school buses and children making their way home.
