The Kansas City Chiefs, who are in their third year spending the summer in St. Joseph, broke up the monotony of everyday workouts with a joint practice with the Arizona Cardinals.
Both teams began the afternoon on separate practice fields, but after opening up with stretching and a couple drills, the defenses swapped fields to go against the opposing offense.
One of the more exciting match-ups to watch during the day included a one-on-one drill that featured All-Pro wide receiver going against third-year safety Eric Berry.
The practice was relatively uneventful, though. Earlier in the week, a fight broke out at New York Jets Training Camp between teammates. That was not the case when two separate teams came together at Missouri Western on Tuesday.
"I told them that we don't want fights," Chiefs head coach Romeo Crennel said. "It takes a little discipline to avoid fights, and we want to be a disciplined team. I expect them to display that discipline."
