Updated: May 11, 2010

Crust:
1 box yellow cake mix
1 large egg
1/2 cup melted butter
Filling:
1 package cream cheese ( 8 ounces)
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup melted butter
1 box confectioner's sugar (16 ounces)
Crust:
In a large bowl, combine cake mix, egg and melted butter.  Mix well until dry ingredients are moistened.  Pat lightly into prepared baking pan, covering bottom and sides of pan.
Filling:
In a large bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth.  Add eggs and vanilla extract and beat until well combined.  Beat in melted butter until evenly blended.  On low speed, gradually beat in the box of confectioner's sugar.  Beat until smooth.
Spread cream cheese mixture over crust in pan.  Bake for 40-50 minutes until sides are set and the center is still a little jiggly. Remove and cool completely. Dust with confectioner’s sugar and serve.
