More Arkansans are trying to kick the habit, now that it costs more to smoke. Arkansas Stop Smoking helpline usually averages more than 1,000 calls a month. But, last week alone, more than 2,600 people called for help. On March 1st, taxes on tobacco rose by 56 cents per pack. If you need help to quit smoking, call this number -- 1-866-NOW-QUIT.
