The late entertainer Bob Hope is receiving new recognition from the U.S. government. The Postal Service is getting ready to issue a new commemorative stamp honoring the legendary comedian.
The stamp will be unveiled Monday in a ceremony at Ellis Island in New York where Hope, born in Britain, first arrived in the U.S. at the age of five.
He became a citizen a dozen years later.
The Bob Hope stamp will be available for purchase in the Spring.
