Giving Up The Keys

Giving Up Your Keys
Know your limitations and don't drive when you no longer can do so without jeopardizing your safety and the safety of others. If your vision, your health, or range of motion prevents you from driving there are many other options to keep you active and mobile. City transit is a common solution and is often much cheaper than driving. Taxis are a somewhat costlier solution. Many assisted living facilities offer transportation services.  If you need more help than offered with these solutions for local transportation check into paratransit options. If you are going on a long trip you have the option of a bus, plane, or train.
