As people grow older it is likely that vision quality will decline. A driver at 60 typically needs 3 times more light to see as a teenager . As eyes age they lose their ability to adjust focus quickly, peripheral vision narrows, and retinas become less sensitive to light. To keep driving safely you should be aware of your capabilities as far as your eyes are concerned and have a yearly eye exam. Eye exams should be come more regular if you notice rapid decrease in function.
