7:15 a.m. - Max Payne Takes Top Spot in Weekend Box Office

 "Beverly Hills Chihuahua" has moved from the penthouse to the doghouse at the box office.

The action movie "Max Payne" took top honors at the box office this weekend, debuting as number one with 18-million dollars in sales.

The Chihuahua comedy dropped to number two, with the civil rights era movie "The Secret Life of Bees" coming in third place.

Oliver Stone's new portrait of President Bush, "W.," debuted fourth.
