I Race For My Friends
Sabrina Pertuis
Why I Race is very simple. When you love someone so much and you see that person go through something so hard, it is simple to give up some sweat, breath, and a few hours. I have several women that I race for, each of these women have taken this scary path with strength, spirit, and always a smile. They give me strength and hope. I was released from the hospital this year at 10:30pm on FRI, OCT.10 and made it to the race SAT morning. I tell you this to let you know how passionate I am about this race every year. With God's help, I will continue to do this every year. I give HONOR to: Sharon Hunter, Dena Whitley, and Edna Yingling. Thank you for your time.
