I Race to Support My Stepmother

This year I am 8 years cancer free –THANK GOD AND MY GREAT DOCTORS!!! However, my stepmother was diagnosed recently and had a double mastectomy this week. She is
facing chemo and possibly radiation. BUT SHE IS GOING TO BE FINE – IT WAS FOUND
EARLY STAGE. So, this year I am racing in support of her and the future
celebration of her being cancer free!!
As in my cancer, early detection saves lives. I encourage every woman to be diligent in her yearly exams and pay attention to any changes in your body.
Hopefully someday the Race for the Cure will be the “Race in celebration of a cure”!!!!!!!!!!!
