I Am Walking For My Aunt and Three Friends Mindy Mosier
I started participating in the “Race
for the cure” 14 years ago. At that time I didn’t know anyone personally who had
been diagnosed, I just thought it was a good cause
Now, 14 years later, I am walking
for my aunt and three friends.
First was my friend, Lori Tynes,
then another friends’ mother, Faye Lanier and then my aunt Cindy Glenn and then
one of her friends Ida.
My aunt was the first in my family
to be diagnosed with Breast Cancer, so it is not in our family’s history. I have
two daughters and feel that this is a very important issue.
Also, last December after being
cancer free from the breast cancer my aunt was diagnosed with Leukemia. She was
in the hospital for 3 months and I am happy to say she is in remission and is
flying in from Arizona this Thursday and will participate in the race with me
this coming Saturday!
Thanks and congratulations to everyone participating in 2012!Click here for more information about the Race for the Cure!
