The bright neon lights of Broadway will go dim later today to honor Paul Newman. The legendary film star made his Broadway debut in 1953 in a production of "Picnic."
It was also the production where he met his future wife Joanne Woodward.
The Broadway League says theater marquees lining the streets off Broadway and Times Square in New York City will dim their lights for one minute at 8:00 p.m. tonight.
The star of films like "The Hustler," "Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid" and "The Color Of Money, died last Friday at the age of 83 after a bout with cancer.
