My name is Macy Muckelberg and I am nine years old. On October 11, 2008, my two best friends and I will be walking for the first time in the Race For The Cure. The reason I am walking in the Race For The Cure is because my teacher survived breast cancer. She is my hero because she was strong and survived her cancer. She is so loving and caring, I could not imagine having another 4th grade teacher. I am so happy she beat her cancer. I will be walking in Mrs. Harrison's honor and helping other women by the money collected from the race. My friends and I plan on walking every year so we can help find a cure for breast cancer.
