For My Future Husband and Caregiver - Ellen DiMaggio, Little Rock
I've
never given any thought to cancer, then I was diagnosed with breast
cancer in the Fall of 2007. I want to walk in this year's race in
honor of my life's partner. Mike has been extremely supportive during
my journey through surgery and treatment. I couldn't have faced this
battle without his help. He is so proud of me, he even bought pink
ribbons for our vehicles. Our wedding is scheduled for October, but
with my diagnosis, he wanted to get married immediately. I'm walking
this year as a small way to thank Mike for all his encouragement
and sacrifices.
