Get Smart

If anybody could fill the shoes of Don Adams it is Steve Carell. He looks the part and plays it to almost perfection. In the movie KAOS and Control are at it again. Max wants despirately to be a field agent but is perpetually held back until disaster strikes and the identities of all the control agents are revealed to KAOS. Max gets his chance in the field after being paired with Agent 99 played by Anne Hathaway. At first she is not fond of her new partner due to his lack of experience but in the end his charms wear her down. Veteran actor Alan Arkin plays Chief coming off an oscar win for Little Miss Sunshine. Dwayne Johnson plays Agent 23, the spy that Max looks up to and aspires to be but all that glitters is not gold as Max learns that Johnson is a double agent and is the source of the identity leaks from Control. Look for a brief appearance from the original leader of KAOS and other nostalgic surprises throughout the movie. This is a really fast paced, action packed, funny flick that does not disappoint.
