It's an easy way to drastically cut the price of groceries. What if you knew what supermarket sales and what coupons to use at the right time for the biggest savings. When Michelle Garcia goes shopping she feels like she's robbing the store. It might seem like grocery shopping is a game to Michelle, and it is. She's saving hundreds of dollars by playing the grocery game.
"After i joined the grocery game, i am saving 250 dollars per month."
Teri Gault came up with the idea for the website. Grocerygame.com tells you which coupons and what sales are currently available to maximize your savings.
"The main thing is knowing how to use the coupons. We're saving them all that time and preparation. Just pull up my list and I'm going to show you where to find the coupons and you'll see the best sales that are advertised and unadvertised."
When Michelle signs on to the website, she sees deals at Publix, Wixx Dixie, Walgreens, CVS, and prints out the list and highlights what she wants to buy. The deals on the web site are all color coded. Blue means it’s 50% off, black means the price is good, but it may drop soon and green means the item is essentially free.
