Possible Lung Cancer Gene Discovered

There could be an explanation why some smokers never develop lung cancer.
Studies show genetics may play a role in making smokers more susceptible to nicotine addiction, lung cancer and peripheral artery disease.
For example, a smoker whose parents both passed on a certain gene, has an 80 percent greater chance of developing lung cancer than a smoker without the gene.
