Plastic Surgery Turns Mainstream

surgeryMore Americans are getting nipped and tucked these days. In fact, Americans spent more than 12 billion on cosmetic procedures last year. Plastic surgery was up 7 percent in 2007, some 12 million procedures -- that's more than double the number done back in 2000. Breast augmentation's still the most common. The biggest increase was in minimally invasive procedures -- like Botox, up 13 percent from 2006.
