New Research on Growth Hormones

New research finds growth hormone does not help athletes get stronger or faster -- and in some cases it may worsen their performance.
After reviewing published studies, researchers concluded that while they found no evidence of improved strength or speed, they did find reports of increased muscle mass.
One study found athletes given growth hormone had less stamina and became exhausted faster than those not given the hormone.
