Skin care is going green.

A Connecticut company, Mod Skin Labs, has found a way to care for skin and the environment at the same time.

Mod Skin Labs uses minimal packaging and its face care line is made up of all natural and organic materials.

Another plus for the company is that it relies on no overseas outsourcing.

"Everybody that I had asked and talked to about my idea, it can't happen. you can't have a green company, a green organic company and try to source everything locally," says owner Raffaele Roberto.

Roberto says his company is seeing a trend in the beauty business that less is more.
