A Texas doctor says he may have just the ticket overweight Americans are looking for.

He's developed a program that has many of his patients peeling off the pounds.

It's called the Doctor Ted Diet, where patients are put on a low calorie diet.

TED stands for "thermogenic endorphin-releasing diet."

Nothing's forbidden, but patients are encouraged to eat healthy, like lean meats, fruits and veggies and snacks.

Add to that, a weekly b-12 and b-6 shot that has three fat burning components and boosts energy, plus a cream, rubbed into the skin, to suppress your appetite.
