A new church in Conway is thinking outside the box. The launch team of Crosspoint United Methodist Church in Conway served their community this weekend at a local Exxon gas station.
There they pumped gas, washed windows and informed folks of the new church just around the corner.
Sunday, Crosspoint celebrated it's first worship service and instead of a regular message from the pulpit Pastor Tammy Garrison related the her message to restoring an old car.
"We'll use things like tools, cones and we watched a video of 1969 Ford Mustang being restored," explains Garrison, "Just trying to use things people are familiar with today to help them understand the love of Christ."
Garrison hopes to have blues style worship music in the future to jazz things up.
