St. Mark and Arkansas Baptist Team Up to Give Back

By: KARK 4 News
Updated: March 9, 2013
Church members spent the past month filling the truck with clothes, book, toys, and other items people really need. The group had help from students. The project is a partnership between the church and Arkansas Baptist College.

Volunteers handed out everything in a little over an hour. Glenn Hersey, outreach Pastor for St. Mark, says "[They] had about 75 volunteers about 500 from the community and hey donated everything at no coast to the people who came out."

This was the third Operation Impact the church has put on and volunteers say it is always a huge success.
