Highway Commission Hopes to Install More Cable Barriers

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. -- The Arkansas Highway Commission hopes to install more than 40 miles of cable barriers along the roadway in Pulaski, Lonoke, Prairie and Monroe counties.

Barriers were installed along the interstate from Fayetteville to Bentonville last summer.

According to the Highway Commission, they've already been hit more than 70 times in the last six months.
