ROGERS, AR - The Rogers Police Department has arrested two teens after a shooting incident.

Officers were called to the intersection of South 15th Street and West Cypress Street just before midnight Friday.

Investigators say a teenaged boy reported he was driving east in the 2200 block of West Walnut Street in a 2000 white Dodge Charger when a black vehicle pulled beside him.

The driver reported hearing a "pop" and the rear passenger window of his vehicle breaking. The teen followed after the suspect vehicle, identified as a 1995 black Nissan Pathfinder, and was able to get its license plate number. The boy then reported the incident to police.

Police say during a search of the vehicle, they found a bullet hole in the top right side of the driver's seat. Officers were able to recover what is believed to be a .45 caliber round from the seat. Neither the driver nor his passenger suffered any injuries in the incident.

After investigation, Douglas Joe Blake Huston and Robert Aaron Thomas, both 18, and from Rogers, were arrested. They both face charges of Attempted Capital Murder, Terroristic Act and Unlawful Discharge of a Firearm from a Vehicle.

Thomas is also facing additional charges of Driving While Intoxicated, Minor in Possession, and Possession of an Instrument of Crime.

Both Huston and Thomas are being held at the Benton County Jail awaiting a bond hearing.
