LITTLE ROCK, AR - A former Lieutenant with the Benton Fire Department pleaded not guilty Tuesday in Federal Court on charges of receipt and possession of child pornography.

Timothy Bodkin, 39, was indicted last year during an investigation into file sharing of child porn. The Department of Justice says a search of Bodkin's locker at the fire station found a laptop computer with more than 1,000 images of child pornography on it.

The DOJ says Bodkin is not being detained on the charges.
