A recently filed bill would reduce permit fees for concealed carry licenses and offer additional discounts for veterans and victims of domestic abuse with court orders of protection.

The Senate Bill says it aims to allow more Arkansans the opportunity to protect themselves.

The bill would reduce the concealed carry weapon permit fee from $100 to $50.

Veterans and victims with court orders of protection would face a $25 fee.
