Review Finds Improper Use in Free Phones Program Enjoyed by Millions

The Wall Street Journal's (WSJ) review of a government program to provide phones to low-income Americans is making headlines today.
It says the U. S. government spent about $2.2 billion last year to provide the free phones and that many who received them haven't yet proved they were eligible for one.
Arkansas Second District Congressman Tim Griffin has been an outspoken critic of the program since it began.
On his congressional website, Griffin has a section devoted to the issue titled:
