Ouachita County Couple Killed When SUV Leaves Camden Highway, Strikes Trees

A Ouachita County couple has died in a one-vehicle accident.
It happened Thursday around noon along U.S. Highway 79 in Camden.
The Arkansas State Police says a 2011 Nissan Armada driven by James M. Bevins, 29, of Stephens went off the road and hit several trees.
Also in the car was the man's wife, Shawna M. Bevins, 24.
Both were pronounced dead at the scene.
The accident report notes that the road was clear and dry and shows the Bevins' were not wearing seat belts.
