More Arkansas Legal Woes for Country Singer Mindy McCready

Citing her "emotional instability," her former husband has filed a string of motions in Cleburne County Circuit Court demanding the safety and custody of his son, who has been in McCready's care since November 2011.
Among other things, Billy McKnight wants McCready to submit to drug and alcohol testing as well as a psychological evaluation.
McCready made headlines when she was accused of kidnapping the child from Billy McKnight's custody in Florida and hiding out in Arkansas. She has lived here since then and given birth to a child by fiance David Wilson, who was found dead at their Heber Springs home last month from a gunshot wound.
Wilson's January 13th death is under investigation and few details about what happened have been released by authorities.
"I was sorry to learn about her fiance passing, but, given Mindy's past emotional and psychological history, I am extremely concerned that my son is in danger," said McKnight. "Demonstrated by her willingness to break the law and ignore the courts, Mindy's emotional wellbeing is not stable enough to have full custody of our son. I want to be there for my son and look out for his best interests. I will continue this fight as long as it takes to make sure my son's safety is guaranteed and he is returned to me."
Soon after Wilson's death, Billy McKnight began calling on the authorities and court systems to return his six-year-old son to his home and custody.
"Mindy McCready's unlawful actions have led to the complete alienation and termination of my parental rights," said McKnight. "The whereabouts and safety of my son have been withheld from me. Like any father, I deserve to know at least where my son is and that he is safe, happy and healthy."
McKnight has the court documents listed below against McCready in the Cleburne County Circuit Court's Arkansas Domestic Relations Division.
