By: Sydney Hart, KARK 4 News
Updated: December 14, 2007
The Governor's roundtable on health care kicked off at the State Capitol.
The mission --- identify achievable strategies to improve Arkansans' health through better access to health care.
Two women shared their stories of challenges they faced when it comes to health care.
Leaders say today's testimonies are just a small example of the needs in our state and they hope to hear from others at future bi-monthly meetings.
"This is a very interactive process. We want to have input, testimony, ideas from all sectors - from public to private sectors, from individual who care and are interested in health and health care," explains Kevin Ryan, Executive Associate Director at Arkansas Center For Health Improvement.
