The trial of a man accused of killing his 2-month-old stepson has been delayed.

Authorities arrested 23-year-old Tremelle Overton in August after finding his stepson unresponsive and not breathing.

The child was taken to Northwest Medical Center where he later died.

Overton's trial was scheduled to start on Monday, but was rescheduled for Feb. 28.

Charged with first-degree murder, he remains in the Washington County Detention Center on $100,000 bond.
