Update: Silver Alert Canceled for Missing West Memphis Man

The West Memphis Police Department has deactivated the Silver Alert that was issued for J.D. Harris
on Jan. 28.

Original Story:
The West Memphis Police Department is asking for community assistance throughout the Mid-South to help locate a missing man.

J.D. Harris, 67, was last seen on Wednesday, Jan. 16, at his home.

He is 5'11" tall and weighs about 160 pounds.

When last seen, Harris was wearing blue jeans, black tennis shoes, and a black and red shirt.

Police say he is retired, does not drive and has health issues which require medication.

Anyone who has seen Harris or knows anything about where he might be, is urged to call the West Memphis Police Department at (870) 735-1210 or Lt. Troy Galtelli at (870) 732-7525.
