Temerrai Rhodes is thankful this holiday season, but admits her life  has had many ups and downs along the way. That includes time spent in prison and jail, but things are much brighter thanks to the Compassion Center in Little Rock.
If you've ever shopped at the Compassion Center thrift store chances are you recognize Temerrai Rhodes.
She's worked here since August of 2006 and considers her job a true blessing.
"I was going through some struggles. I was just starting out on the road to righteousness when I got here and began to work here," explains Rhodes.
Rhodes is known for her hard work and dedication at the Compassion Center.
And while her past has a couple rough patches she admits organizers here believed in her and that's why she has a new focus.
"The thing about it is to maintain it. I have to worship God in spirit and truth everyday not just on Sundays. I have to do what's right," says Rhodes.
And in this cashier's world doing what's right is helping others.
"It's not just a pay check to me, working here is a blessing," adds Rhodes.
