Little Rock Man Arrested in Lonoke County after Banging on Windows of Home, Business

A Little Rock man has been arrested in Lonoke County after deputies are called about someone banging on the windows of a home and nearby business.

The Lonoke County Sheriff's Office (LCSO) says it happened Tuesday night shortly after 6:30 near the intersection of Highway 31 South and Highway 70, just outside Lonoke.

According to a witness, a man later identified as Richard T. Watkins, 54, fired a handgun into the ground during the incident. 

Watkins was arrested on charges of Public intoxication and Disorderly conduct and taken to the Lonoke County Detention Facility.

The LCSO says there was no property damage as a result of the incident.
