Jeff Long Named Arkansan of the Year

By: KNWA News
Updated: January 18, 2013
Arkansas Times has named "Boss Hog" Jeff Long as 2012 Arkansan on the Year.

The magazine's profile
of the University of Arkansas Athletic Director follows his roller coaster year, starting with the Petrino scandal and fall out in April, through the lackluster, John L. Smith-led season and the much buzzed search for a new head coach.

Other 2012 Arkansans of the Year Honorable Mentions include the Arkansas Supreme Court and Beebe-native Cody Belew, who appeared on NBC's The Voice.
