"Once this hits if you're in the wrecker service are going to be busy," says driver Ray Cobb.
Metro Towing & Recovery dispatched all of its truck across Little Rock all day Tuesday, returning with cars different models of different sizes, all banged up, due to ice roadways.
"See all the wetness up there that's what messes people up they think its water," Cobb says, pointing to a patch of slush on the highway. "It's definitely unsafe, slushy wet spots that are real ice."
Cobb's truck even started sliding on his way to call. The demand for wreckers is so high right now many are only answering police calls.
"Just like this right here," he said, driving by an accident.
When drivers hit slick spots, a wall, another car or a pole, Cobb is there to load the remaining pieces.
"That's how bad it can get and even 10 times worse," Cobb says after picking up a wrecked vehicle.
He hopes scenes like that will keep other drivers inside overnight as the wet slick roads, turn to ice.
The National Guard has even been called out to help stranded motorists. Wrecker services are warning people to stay off the roads to avoid needing their help, and putting in others in danger.
