Learning a second language can be challenging, but can make a world of difference.

One Little Rock 4th grader is getting students hooked on another language and in his classroom, he's the teacher.

"It feels good, since I'm enjoying it, teaching others, said Joshua Yu."

Trading in the playground, for a chalkboard.

Joshua Yu is a 4th grader at Baker Elementary in West Little Rock and teaches a foreign language to his fellow classmates after school.

"My mom teaches Chinese and I just wanted to see how it was for me to teach it."

More than 60 students stay after school, voluntarily to attend Joshua's hour-long class on Friday's to learn another language.

"What's more amazing, is that we have at least 65 more kids who want to be in the language classes, said Baker Elementary Teacher Linda George."

All because a parent inquired about someone teaching a foreign language class, the email went out, no adults responded, but Joshua did, does that mean he wants to take this show on the road, as a full-time teacher one day.

"Not exactly, said Joshua."

But for the time being, he's happy playing the student teacher role at Baker.
