A Cabot teacher who pleaded guilty to sexually assaulting a 15-year-old boy student last year has been sentenced to a 6-year prison term.
The sentence requires Stacy Stracener, 36, to serve more than two years before becoming eligible for parole. She must also register as a sex offender.
Original story (January 14):
The State Board of Education voted on Monday to revoke the license of a Cabot teacher accused of having sex with one of her students, a 15-year-old boy.
Former Lonoke High School teacher Stacy Stracener pleaded guilty to 11 counts of first-degree sexual assault and two counts of second-degree sexual assault in December.
Stracener will be sentenced at the end of the month to what the Lonoke prosecuting attorney tells KARK could be a 15-year sentence.
