Rain to Fall in Arkansas Through Thursday

By: KARK 4 News
Updated: January 9, 2013
The rain falling in parts of Arkansas today will stick around until Thursday.

The National Weather Service in Little Rock says a slow-moving upper level storm system means unsettled conditions across the state through Thursday.

The system, in north central Texas this morning, will lift north during the day with rain becoming more widespread.

Rain will become likely statewide tonight before ending from west to east on Thursday.

Several inches of rain will be possible before the system clears out, with the heaviest amounts over southern Arkansas.
