New Mayor Fires Pine Bluff Police Chief, Interim Chief Sworn-in

The Pine Bluff police chief has been fired by the city's newly sworn-in mayor.
That's according to a report by the Pine Bluff Commercial, which cites a news release from the office of Mayor Debe Hollingsworth.
The Commercial says the firing of Police Chief Brenda Davis-Jones came after a meeting with Mayor Hollingsworth at City Hall this afternoon.
Retired Police Lt. Jeff Hubanks has been named interim chief, says the Commercial.
