Fireworks Banned in Beebe to Prevent More Bird Deaths

There will be no New Year's Eve fireworks for some people who live in Beebe.
You may remember, two years ago, nearly five thousand blackbirds fell from the sky New Year's Eve. Game and Fish officials said fireworks had scared them from their roost.
In November, city leaders passed a ban on fireworks in certain parts of town.
