Like thousands across Pulaski County, Greg's place has been in the dark without electricity since the storm hit on Tuesday.
Greg blogged about the experience on his Facebook page. Here's just a short snippet:
"It was no surprise, that after seeing the damage that I did around me, my house and those around me were and still are without power.
The coldest my house got to was 46 degrees during the outage.
Being a meteorologist, I give alot of advice about storm safety. I talk about weather radios and storm kits. I'm happy to say that I not only give this advice, but also live by it. Some of this comes from my experience living in Florida for 5 years. I can remember one particular hurricane season down when Tallahassee where I was, got hit by 4 separate tropical storms. That type of storminess keeps you ready for the worst. Since my Florida days I have always had a bin with a few basic storm supplies which include a couple flashlights, florescent camping lanterns and plenty of batteries."
