Central Arkansas hotels are reportedly filled to capacity or are close to capacity because of people trying to stay warm since their homes are still without electricity.

The Arkansas Hospitality Association said area hotels are also hosting thousands of repair crews who are working around the clock to get the power back on to more than 90,000 customers.

One North Little Rock hotel told KARK that it is at 95-percent occupancy, all due to the outages.

At one point, more than 250,000 households and businesses were without power after a powerful winter storm hit Arkansas on Christmas Day.
