Arkansas National Guard Provides Winter Weather Ambulance Support

The Arkansas National Guard deployed troops to provide winter weather support after heavy amounts of ice and snow blanketed the state.

According to a news release, these initial missions for the Guard include the provision of four-wheel-drive ambulance support to Pulaski and Faulkner Counties.

The missions called for a total of seven personnel with seven military ambulances to assist the first responders based at the Metropolitan Emergency Medical Services (MEMS) in Conway, Little Rock and Jacksonville.
