The latest round of storms in Arkansas included a weather phenomenon that left many people with dirty cars.

The National Weather Service in Little Rock says there was "mud rain" in parts of the state in the storms that passed through Arkansas late Wednesday night and early Thursday morning.

It was created by remnants of a dust storm in West Texas that mixed with a line of thunderstorms, the NWS said.

NBC affiliate KCBD in Lubbock reported that the dust storm caused a series of accidents along Interstate 27, resulting in one death and more than a dozen injuries.
