Update: Searcy Rape, Stabbing Suspect Arrested

Update (4:50 p.m.):
According to Searcy Police, the White County Sheriff's Office arrested Aaron Ray Rash just after 4 p.m. Wednesday.

Deputies responded to a suspicious person call, identified him as Aaron Ray Rash and arrested him without incident near South Booth Road in Searcy.


Original Story (4:20 p.m.):
The Searcy Police Department has issued an arrest warrant for the man believed to be responsible for the stabbing and rape that occurred Tuesday night.

Police are searching 29-year-old Aaron Ray Rash, whose last-known address was in Bald Knob and is wanted for felony rape and felony battery charges.

Rash stands 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighs approximately 170 pounds with brown hard and brown eyes.

Police say he should be considered armed and dangerous and is a level 3 registered sex offender.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is encouraged to call the Searcy Police Department at (501) 268-3531.

So he is already a predator and has now destroyed more lives. Why should he be allowed in public again EVER? If this does not get him life then anyone involved in this case would need to lose their jobs, period.
