Benton Police Arrest Man Suspected of Raping Juvenile Girl

Benton Police have arrested a man suspected of raping a juvenile girl.
According to police, 30-year-old Marcus Schenck was arrested on a warrant for two charges of rape.
Officers took a report of a possible rape on Dec. 7, then further investigation determined that a rape did take place.
Detectives then contacted Schenck, arrested him and took him to the Saline County Detention Facility for processing.
Police say this is an ongoing investigation, and anyone with information about this crime is encouraged to contact the Benton Police Department at 778-1171 or 315-TIPS.
